Loading your container: Remember that your container will be transported by road, rail or sea transport and this does involve vibrations, stopping and starting so assure that you have made sure everything is securely packed into the container to prevent movement. All containers have tie down points top and bottom within the container, so use them as often as you can. Hessian webbing is quite cheap and can be purchase from any haberdashery store, you can also buy cheap boards from your loacal hardware store to finish or end your load securely.
The packing is simple wrap and load your furniture into the container, it is like a jigsaw puzzle, the tighter you pack it the more you get in and the less change of rubbing or moving of the furniture. All goods that can be boxed should be.
Clients going into Western Australia please remember you need to have all gardening tools steam cleaned and at the front of the container for a custom's inspection if required. Customs declarations are available on the WA Customes page on this site.
Loading your container is quite simple and just requires some thought. Remember containers may be moved by either side loader or tilt tray. With tilt tray deliveries you need to realize the container will be loaded onto the truck from the rear and will be tilted to around a 30% angle so load accordingly making sure your goods are secure. Tilt tray delivery is half the cost of side loaders and is available in most major cities and towns.
